Muse & Fashion Collective: Shaping the Future of Classical Music
While studying at the Royal Academy of Music, Nikita's passion for discovering and performing forgotten music grew. However, he also recognized that the future of the classical music industry rests with a new generation of artists tasked with redefining the genre for the 21st century. Nikita envisions the industry's future in innovative collaborations with fashion houses and various art forms, leading him to establish the Muse and Fashion Collective—an organization dedicated to pushing the boundaries of classical performance and envisioning the future of musical art.
The Muse and Fashion Collective brings together the UK’s finest emerging artists, encompassing a wide range of musical genres from classical and jazz to contemporary and electronic music, with regular performers being featured on their website, museandfashion.com. In partnership with British Land, which generously provides performance venues, and young designers from the University of the Arts London, the collective creates unique concerts where music and fashion merge, crafting unforgettable and captivating experiences.
Beyond his artistic endeavors, Nikita is deeply committed to using art to improve the community and world around him. He organizes charity concerts and projects designed to benefit children, such as a performance at the Royal London Hospital where musicians from the Muse and Fashion Collective played Prokofiev's Peter and the Wolf arranged for a woodwind quintet. Additionally, he organized a concert at the Annunciation Church Marble Arch for deaf children, where sound waves were visually represented through a light show, allowing all to experience the music. Nikita firmly believes in the transformative power of art to make a positive impact on society.
